Bipolar disorder is more than just ups and downs—it’s a mental health condition that can disrupt every area of life if left untreated. For people in Colorado who are living with mood swings, manic episodes, or depressive episodes, the right treatment program can make all the difference in restoring stability and improving well-being. At our treatment center in Greeley, we specialize in bipolar disorder treatment that addresses the unique needs of each person.
Our team of licensed clinicians uses evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other psychotherapy approaches to help clients achieve long-term mood stability. From medication management to family therapy, every aspect of our care is designed to support recovery, reduce the symptoms of bipolar disorder, and help clients live fuller, healthier lives.
Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder that causes intense changes in energy, mood, and activity levels. People may cycle between periods of mania or hypomania—marked by high energy, impulsivity, and sometimes risky behavior—and depressive episodes characterized by low mood, fatigue, and loss of interest in daily activities. For some, these mood shifts may happen only a few times a year; for others, they may occur more frequently.
Common symptoms include:
Because bipolar disorder often overlaps with substance use disorders, anxiety, or a personality disorder, it requires a treatment approach that addresses co-occurring disorders alongside mood regulation.
No two clients experience bipolar disorder the same way, which is why we believe in personalized care from the very start. When you or a loved one comes to us for help, we begin with a comprehensive evaluation to understand your history, mental health disorders, medical needs, and personal goals.
From there, we create a treatment plan tailored to your unique situation. This may include therapy, medication management, group therapy, family therapy, or even dual diagnosis treatment if a substance abuse concern is present. Every therapy session—whether individual or group—is rooted in the latest research on mental health treatment and is delivered by licensed clinicians who are passionate about helping clients reclaim their lives.
Our treatment center offers a wide range of evidence-based therapies that can be combined into your treatment program:
We also integrate holistic treatment approaches—such as mindfulness practices, wellness planning, and stress-reduction techniques—to promote whole-person healing.
