Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Greeley, Colorado

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured and intensive form of mental health treatment that provides comprehensive care without requiring full-time residential stay. It serves as a middle ground between inpatient hospitalization and outpatient therapy, offering individuals the support they need while allowing them to return home in the evenings.

At Aspen View Mental Health, our PHP is designed for adults struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. Patients participate in individual therapy, group counseling, medication management, and skill-building sessions to help them develop coping strategies and regain stability. PHP is ideal for those who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but do not require 24/7 supervision.

Benefits of a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

PHP provides structured, intensive care while allowing individuals to return home at night. This balance helps patients maintain their daily responsibilities while receiving individual therapy, group counseling, and medication management. It’s an ideal step-down from inpatient care or an alternative for those who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy.

At Aspen View Mental Health, PHP treatment plans are tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Our team utilizes evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to address mental health conditions effectively. Personalized treatment ensures patients receive the most effective interventions for their healing journey.

Group therapy is a core component of PHP, offering a supportive environment where patients can connect with others facing similar challenges. Sharing experiences and coping strategies helps reduce feelings of isolation, build confidence, and create a sense of community essential for recovery. Support from peers can be a powerful motivator during the healing process.

Unlike inpatient programs that require 24/7 commitment, PHP offers flexibility, allowing patients to return home after treatment each day. This setup enables individuals to practice coping skills in real-world situations while still receiving structured support. It’s an excellent option for those who need intensive care but also want to maintain relationships, work, or family responsibilities.

PHP serves as a bridge between inpatient treatment and outpatient care, ensuring a gradual step-down in support. This reduces the risk of relapse or crisis by providing continued access to therapy, medication management, and structured support. It helps patients maintain stability while preparing for a more independent level of care.

What is a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)?

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is highly effective for treating a wide range of mental health conditions by providing structured, intensive care while allowing individuals to apply coping skills in real-world settings. PHP helps patients gain stability, learn essential skills, and transition to lower levels of care when ready.

At Aspen View Mental Health, our PHP is designed to treat the following primary mental health conditions:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Anxiety disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety)
